Description:The debut album by Green Grey was released in the fall of 1997 and is now being issued for the first time on limited-edition purple-colored vinyl. The sound has been specially remastered for this release in 2024. Early in their career, Green Grey played cheerful youth music that was a mix of various styles and genres, including funk, rock, and trip-hop. The band members themselves referred to their style as "Ukr-pop," analogous to "Brit-pop". Green Grey was the first in the history of Ukrainian rock music to include a DJ in their lineup. The band was also the first in Ukrainian history to attend the MTV Awards and to sign a contract with Pepsi-Cola. The most famous hits from the legendary self-titled album include the songs "Under the Rain", "Arguments and Facts", and "Sh.A.L.A.-La".
